A lottery winner who has won $2 million in NJ Powerballs has been named the winner of the $2,383,500 jackpot.

In a statement Thursday, Powerball spokeswoman Mary Beth Hester said the lottery was “excited to announce the winner and a new Powerball jackpot winner has been announced for New Jersey.

The winner is one of our most successful lottery winners in the state of New Jersey.”

A couple of hours after the news broke, the Powerball company posted a photo of a new winning ticket for the lottery.
