By Brian McClendon, AP The Dallas Cowboys’ owners meeting concluded on Wednesday with a meeting to formally name the team’s new stadium.
The stadium, expected to open in 2019, is expected to be the first major franchise-owned facility for a major NFL franchise.
It also will mark a significant development for the Cowboys, who were the first team to own a football team in Texas.
Dallas, which has the most teams in the NFL with 22, will be the second team to get the Cowboys’ new stadium in the Lone Star State, after San Francisco.
