New York Giants fans will not have to wait much longer for the 2017 New York-Dallas Cowboys to square off again.
The New York Post reports that the Cowboys are reportedly planning to trade up in the upcoming NFL Draft and select the New York City native who was drafted in the third round in 2016.
The Post notes that the New Orleans Saints are also said to be interested in acquiring the No, 2 overall selection.
This is not the first time the Dallas Cowboys have traded up and selected a player from outside the top five picks.
In 2014, the team selected wide receiver Mike Williams at No. 7 overall.
Williams was later released by the Saints.
In addition, the New England Patriots took wide receiver Michael Floyd with the No (No. 1) overall pick that year.
